Thank 's for visiting my site. My love of photography started when I enrolled in a photography class while attending college in Canada. I was undeniably hooked, consumed by the whole process. But alas I put this passion aside for a few years and became a neonatal intensive care nurse, which is what brought me to Santa Barbara. Coincidently Santa Barbara is also home to of one of the best photography schools in the world, Brooks Institute of Photography. Fate! I graduated in 1995, nine months pregnant with a twenty month old in tow, so... the natural progression was to go into child photography! So many years later my main focus continues to be people photography with an emphasis on maternity. Recently however I've branched out to the furry foray of pet photography, which is incredibly challenging and fun (they're just like children as you need to feed them and make sure they know where to go to the bathroom!). I am passionate about my work and love to create images that you will be drawn to, over and over again. I look forward to working with you! Ann
